About the role

As an SLA Team Member, you are the face of the store and make sure every customer leaves feeling good. You don’t just prepare delicious salads – you also help and inspire our customers by sharing your knowledge of healthy food and the SLA menu.

SLA is all about being fresh, open, pure and healthy – and that’s something you naturally bring to the team. You have an interest in healthy food and are excited to contribute to our mission: making healthy and sustainable food accessible to everyone.

Tasks & responsibilities

Our customers always come first. You welcome and help them with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude, work quickly and efficiently, and make sure every order is prepared with care and attention.

Alongside helping customers and preparing orders, you take care of the daily mise en place. This includes cutting and preparing fresh ingredients and making sure everything is ready for a smooth shift.

The actual cooking is done in our own production kitchen, so in the store you can focus on fresh preparation, presentation and great service.

Together with your colleagues, you also make sure the store always looks its best. The tables are clean, good music is playing and the atmosphere feels just right. You have a hands-on mentality and enjoy picking up the pace and working together during a busy shift behind the SLA counter.

About you

Hospitality experience is a plus, but definitely not required

You have an interest in healthy food

You speak English, Dutch is a plus

You are available for 8–24 hours per week

You are available to work weekends

You open the store and get everything ready for the day. You restock the salad bar, finish the last bits of mise en place and make sure everything is fresh and ready to go.
10:00
Together with your team, you make sure the store looks tip-top and everything is ready for lunch. Time for the final preparations and then: bring on the lunch rush!
12:00
Lunch rush! The pace picks up. Salads, bowls and pitas are flying across the counter, while online orders keep coming in too. Together with your team, you make sure everything runs smoothly.
15:00
The rush is over and things slow down a little. Time to restock, clean up, do some prep and, of course, enjoy your own lunch (on us!).
20:00
You wrap up the day together with your team. Clean the stations, tidy everything up and get the store ready for tomorrow. A quick check-in with the team and then: time to head home.
